I haven't drawn this character properly for ages, so it's nice to draw Melody again.
I had a video speedpaint planned for this particular work, but I'm still having difficulties with the screen capture as it is taking far too long to encode the videos. So I might put it together and upload it onto Youtube another day. That video should conist of how I drew and put together the character, but not the background.
I wasn't that sure of what to with the background, so I just messed around. I used an old photo that I took of my christmas tree, added a dotted effect, ect.
The only material I did not create were the borders, as they were provided in a custom photoshop brush. I know that I've used them before, but I really like them. I ought to find a way of making them on my own.
